Located in the central corridor of the Uptown area of Phoenix, the property was renovated from an inefficient, older shell to an energy efficient structure with an updated, modern interior.  The residence was gutted down to the structure with all systems being replaced and upgraded.  Heath ceramic tile became the soul of the renovation, bringing warmth, craft, and graphic clarity to a modern update rooted in midcentury character.

The vaulted interior ceilings were altered structurally from the inside of the home only, so the newly replaced roof could remain undisturbed.  The once dark and closed in floorplan was opened to give the homeowners the modern, open living concept they desired.
